1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VoltMate ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

To use VoltMate, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Be a current owner of a Tesla vehicle (Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y, or Cybertruck).
  • Successfully complete our Tesla ownership verification process.
  • Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws.

We reserve the right to verify your Tesla ownership at any time and to suspend or terminate accounts that fail verification.

3. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You may not create an account for anyone other than yourself, transfer your account, or use another person's account without permission.

4. Acceptable Use

When using VoltMate, you agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information, including misrepresenting your Tesla ownership status.
  • Harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm other users in any way.
  • Post content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on the rights of others.
  • Use the Service for commercial purposes, advertising, or solicitation without authorization.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts.
  • Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Share explicit or inappropriate content without consent.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post on VoltMate. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.

You are solely responsible for your content and the consequences of posting it. We may remove content that violates these terms or our community guidelines.

6. Safety and Interactions

VoltMate is a platform that facilitates connections, but we are not responsible for the conduct of users. When meeting other users in person:

  • Meet in public places for initial meetings.
  • Inform a friend or family member of your plans.
  • Use your own transportation.
  • Trust your instincts and prioritize your safety.

Report any suspicious or inappropriate behavior to us immediately.

7. Intellectual Property

The VoltMate name, logo, and all related marks, designs, and content are our intellectual property. You may not use our trademarks or copyrighted materials without prior written consent.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of user profiles, the compatibility of matches, or the success of any connections made through the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VOLTMATE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the past 12 months.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
